I’m Rūta. My journey with photography began with an old Olympus film camera and the quiet ritual of chasing light. Over the years I studied at VDK and worked with Gang and the Wool in Barcelona, where I learned to find beauty in fragile simplicity and in the dialogue between light and shadow.

Today wedding photography is my true home. I don’t look for poses. I look for truth: the glance, the laughter, the hum of celebration, the quiet moment before the day unfolds.

Inspired by architecture, cities and the stories people carry, I create photographs, both digital and film that are natural, minimal and full of feeling. These are images that hold love, connection and time that can never be repeated.

I would love to hear your story, and I promise to capture it in a way that will never fade.

“A wonderful, warm, and kind person with a rare gift for capturing life’s most beautiful moments. Each photo feels like stepping back in time – I can almost smell the peonies again... How lucky we were to have you there, and thank you for capturing our celebration! Highly recommended!”

“We feel so grateful that it was Rūta who captured our wedding day. It truly felt like a gift from the universe – she exceeded every expectation and gave us so much more. Absolute professionalism, deep empathy, incredible attention to detail, genuine warmth, and creativity – these are just a few of the qualities we experienced. Words and even photos can’t fully describe how much we received from her work. Wholeheartedly recommended for anyone seeking authenticity, artistry, and something truly special.”
